Ow my back

I hurt my back . It must have been the yoga (downwards facing dog ) yesterday . The trip to the campus went thru a road with 4 speed bumps . I had to pull over after the 4th bump buy the pain was so bad . Now i also have to do this silly colloq . Hope my back dont give me trouble . I also took a couple me pics of this cat that three houses share feeding and caring for .

Incense

When i got home the house smelled like incense . I dunno , an indian guy moved in and maybe it was a good luck hindu ritual or something . Or maybe the smell of garlic from my cooking lingered in the house , lol . It has been raining a gone deal lately , so much that the lake in the eng faculty was overflowing and there seemed some risk the faculty might be flooded like it regularly did in 2005 . It stopped raining today and the lake (actually an old mining pool ) went down again .

Convalesce

Took a turn for the worse yesterday... had a fever and coughed my lungs out. Still feeling slightly off. Don't know what I'm doing here, it's not like I can concentrate.

Christmas music already??

Very early morning. Listening to iTunes web-radio, which for now lists American radio stations (still haven't figured out how to switch to other countries).

It's November.

And American stations are already playing Christmas songs. 

That's just mad. Early shopping for gifts, I can understand.

Christmas songs in November? Why not April Fool's in March? What strange customs they have in the Antipodes. Right now it's Winter Wonderland. 

I'm trying to dress the not so satisfying experimental results to make it publishable, but it feels like... like Obama said, you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.
